San Diego over Boston

1:35 PM EST. Matt Waldron (RHP - SD) has tossed six straight quality starts, and he’s gone nine turns without allowing more than two runs. The knuckleballer has been tough to hit, and he threw it 46 times versus the Nationals on Monday, where he struck out eight over six innings while walking two. Waldron did not factor into the decision that day because the Padres could not give him any run support, but with a total of 10½ at Fenway today, the oddsmakers expect some fireworks. On the season, Waldron brings a 3.43 ERA, which is backed by a 3.37 xERA, a 1.16 WHIP, and an 84/27 K/BB rate over 16 starts (89.1 IP).

Going for the Red Sox today is Josh Winckowski (RHP - BOS), who was called up earlier in the week but gets the nod here in replacement of Brayan Bello, who will have his start pushed back until Wednesday in Miami. Winckowski has pitched 30.1 IP for the Red Sox this season, both out of the bullpen and across three starts, and he brings a 3.26 surface ERA, but his xERA is 4.35. He also has 27 Ks to 12 BBs across those appearances with a weak swing and miss rate of 8.7%.

Pinnacle takes some of the lowest fees on all users’ bets, meaning it’s able to offer some of the best value odds on the market. Compared to other major, well-known sportsbooks, Pinnacle offers superior average odds pricing. Pinnacle’s low betting margins and high betting limits is the best in the biz and will save you thousands of dollars over your betting life.

For instance, a baseball game at most sportsbooks has 20 to 25 cent margins

Arizona     -150

Detroit      +125

That’s a 25 cent margin but at Pinnacle, it’ll be an 9 cent margin (see example)

Arizona       -145

Detroit    +134

If you bet on sports daily, Pinnacle is a must have because of their low margins.
