2:15 PM EST. This game features two pitchers coming off contrasting results in their last starts, but because of that, we are presented with a “buy low, sell high” opportunity on both sides.

First up is Hunter Greene (RHP - CIN), who gave up six runs on seven hits over 4 IP versus the Pirates last Tuesday. It was reported that Greene was under the weather for that start, so it’s worth noting that he wasn’t 100%. We’ll also note that he did strike out five and had a solid 27% whiff rate and 30% called and swinging strike rate (CSW). That loss was Greene's first since April 22. In the 10 starts he had in between losses, he posted a sharp 2.80 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, and 62:26 K through 61 innings.

Meanwhile, Lance Lynn (RHP - STL) is coming off arguably his best start of the season after allowing one run on four hits over 6.2 IP on Monday versus the Braves, earning the win. One good start does not make a season, and in his three turns prior, Lynn posted an ugly 7.90 ERA over 13.2 IP. That start was Lynn’s first win since May 21, and it was his longest outing since April 16. That turn in Atlanta was the exception and not the rule, and we’re going to test that here by fading Lynn once again.
