Minnesota -1½ +108 over Kansas City

7:40 PM EST. Let’s try this again. First up is Sonny Gray (RHP - MIN) and the very warm Twinkies, who have been struggling a bit lately but took the opener here last night, 6-2. Gray missed some time earlier in the year but returned in mid-June. He was great before the injury and he’s been great after it. Results haven’t been a problem for Gray in 202. Before the June injury, he did not allow more than two earned runs in any of his eight starts. Over his last four starts, he’s posted a 2.18 ERA with 22 K’s in 21 innings. Dude just goes out there and gives the Twins a great chance to win every time he starts.

We faded Zach Greinke (RHP - KC) last time out and once again we lost, which is getting tiresome to be quite frank. Greinke’s pitching line in his last game reads like some fictional novel because it’s hard to believe. In the first three innings, he did not allow a run but gave up six hits. The White Sox had two men or more on base every inning but failed to score. Greinke’s strand percentage last game was 100%. Overall, he gave up 10 hits and hit a batter in six innings and didn’t allow a run. His first-pitch strike rate last game was 48%. His swing and miss rate this year is 8%. He has 57 K’s in 99 innings with a BABIP of .302. That Zach Greinke doesn’t get lit up every game is nothing but pure luck. Let’s see if he can perform like David Blaine again here.
