7:45 PM EST. We played this matchup last week in Colorado and unfortunately, we ripped up that ticket. However, we will not be deterred from coming right back on Kyle Freeland (LHP - COL) and the Rockies, as this price is ridiculous, even when considering the change of venue.

Before blowing up in that game, Freeland had been pitching well, averaging a strikeout an inning over his prior 23 innings. Considering how many games he plays at Coors Field, Freeland's 42.4% groundball rate is more than serviceable, as is his sub 5.00 ERA but once again this more about fading the Cardinals starter.

In Colorado, Jose Quintana (LHP - ST. L) was a -150 favorite. Now dude is priced likes he’s Satchel Paige. That’s a little spendy, no? What’s changed in the last six days to justify a price increase of nearly a dollar? Let us not forget that Quintana has been so bad the last couple of seasons that he’s pitched in Chicago, San Francisco, L.A., Pittsburgh, and now St. Louis. Quintana’s skills are not elite, hell they are barely on the radar. If we rip up this ticket, so be it, but the price dictates the play and we'll once again reiterate that the Rockies hit lefties very well, both at home and on the road.
