Navarro/Gauff over 20½ (-110 at SportsInteraction)

6:00 AM EST (Sunday). Many in the tennis world may not know who Emma Navarro is, but they should. The 23-year old born in New York City is as tough as the town she hails from (although she mostly grew up down South). She's blossoming into one of the best women's singles competitors in the world, now ranked 17th, and in 2024 she made it to the fourth round at Roland Garros and the third down in Sydney for the first time in her career. In the second round in London she smashed 4-time Grand Slam champion Naomi Osaka, and in the third round she made it past Diana Shnaider, rallying to win 12 of their last 19 games against another surging player who bested her twice in recent battles.

Coco Gauff needs no introduction. The #2 women's player in the world and last year's U.S. Open champion seems at home at Wimbledon, easily clobbering all three of her opponents in straight sets. Impressively, she only lost 10 games (36-10 overall) in those three matches. But Navarro is a huge uptick in talent from what Gauff has seen in London thus far, and the two Americans only met once before (in January of this year, an easy win for Gauff). We've seen what Navarro can do in rematches, and she has the baseline talent to hang with Coco during long rallies. Sunday's total is too low and frankly, disrespectful of the underdog's potential.
