Katie Boulter 2-0 (-155 at SportsInteraction)

This week in Wimbledon, we'll have a rare selection of high-value wagers to make through the next 3-4 days. Since we anticipate a higher-volume of plays during this period, we're releasing "micro-articles," shorter write-ups with more options available. Let's get started!

8:00 AM EST. Few women's players are in better form than Katie Boulter, Britain's #1 female singles competitor who's arguably playing some of the best tennis of her career. After an underwhelming outing at the French Open (a first round loss to Paula Badosa), Boulter immediately conquered grass-season by winning the Nottingham Open in early June, running over a rolodex of well-known names along the way (Pliskova, Raducanu, Frech, Marino). In her way is Tatjana Maria, the 36-year old German who's struggled on grass the more she aged (22-13 the last three years) and arrives at Wimbledon in poor form. Her last outing was a 6-1, 6-3 decimation at the hands of Viktoriya Tomova, a stark drop in performance following some nice wins earlier on clay this year. In any case, unless Boulter was opposing a top-tier player, it's hard to imagine the Brit dropping a set with the momentum and confidence she has entering London. Not to mention, she'll have the crowd and the comforts of a home surface as big advantages.
