Winnipeg -3 over

8:30 PM EST. The Blue Bombers, after reaching the Grey Cup in four consecutive seasons, are enduring a horrible 2024 with a 0-4 record both straight up and against the spread (ATS) to start the year, which equals their total losses from 2023.

Everything that could go wrong has gone wrong for Winnipeg, which has been decimated by injuries from the top spot down the lineup. QB Zach Collaros, a two-time Most Outstanding Player, took a severe hit before halftime in Week 4 and is out this week, leaving Chris Streveler, who struggled last game, getting the start. While he wasn’t pretty in relief, Streveler brings another dimension to the position with his ability to run, and let’s not forget he spent four years in the NFL; one would hope he picked up a good habit or two while he was down South.

The narrative in the market is that Winnipeg’s offense is sputtering. Its passing game, which is missing key receivers, and its starting pivot are in disarray while they are not leaning on arguably the best runner in the league in Brady Oliveira, who rushed for only 26 yards on 10 carries last week and is averaging 4.4 yards per attempt, down from last year’s 5.9. Oh, and the Redblacks already beat them once, in Week 2, 23-19.

With all the negative attention on Winnipeg, there has been little focus on the Redblacks, but y’all, this is not a good football team despite their 2-1 record. Ottawa has not scored more than 24 points in a game this year, and both of their wins were by four points or less, while their loss was a 47-21 blowout to the Als. Oh, by the way, the Ti-Cats and Bombers, who the Redblacks have beaten, are a combined 0-8 on the year. In Week 2, the Bombers were a -7-point road favorite, and now they are spotting deflated points at home. In a classic “buy low, sell high” situation, the Bombers present us with tremendous value. Swallow the points.

Pinnacle takes some of the lowest fees on all users’ bets, meaning it’s able to offer some of the best value odds on the market. Compared to other major, well-known sportsbooks, Pinnacle offers superior average odds pricing. Pinnacle’s low betting margins and high betting limits is the best in the biz and will save you thousands of dollars over your betting life.

For instance, a baseball game at most sportsbooks has 20 to 25 cent margins

Arizona     -150

Detroit      +125

That’s a 25 cent margin but at Pinnacle, it’ll be an 9 cent margin (see example)

Arizona       -145

Detroit    +134

If you bet on sports daily, Pinnacle is a must have because of their low margins.
