Ottawa +6½ over Montreal

7:30 PM EST. The Redblacks started their season a week late, but it was on the right foot with a 23-19 victory over the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, where Ottawa showcased a strong defensive effort that limited Winnipeg to just 42 rushing yards and forced two interceptions from Zach Collaros. Former Bomber pivot Dru Brown stepped into the starting quarterback role for the Redblacks, and he delivered an efficient performance with 20 completions on 33 attempts for 238 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Ryquell Armstead emerged as a reliable force on the ground, rushing for 95 yards, while Justin Hardy led the receiving corps with 111 yards and a touchdown.

With the roadside covered, this play is about fading the 2-0 Alouettes, who began the season wholly disrespected by the media and market but are now being given the respect fitting of a champion. However, with that respect comes an adjustment to the Als' standing in the market, which is now at the top of the power rankings. Not only is the Als’ stock on the rise, but they are going to be playing their home opener tonight, which means they are going to be unveiling their Grey Cup banner and celebrating last year’s championship in a sold-out stadium.

Throw the X’s and O’s out here, as we cannot stress enough just how much of a distraction the Grey Cup festivities are tonight for the Alouettes. Meanwhile, this is a business trip for the Redblacks, who, even if the Als weren’t going to be distracted by the pomp and circumstance, are taking back inflated points in a game they are very much capable of winning. The Als were a significant underdog in Week 1 versus the Bombers, they were a -4-point favorite in Edmonton last week (and covered) and now they are laying better than a touchdown here in Week 3. We’ll gladly scoop up those inflated points and hope to see you at the pay window.

Pinnacle takes some of the lowest fees on all users’ bets, meaning it’s able to offer some of the best value odds on the market. Compared to other major, well-known sportsbooks, Pinnacle offers superior average odds pricing. Pinnacle’s low betting margins and high betting limits is the best in the biz and will save you thousands of dollars over your betting life.

For instance, a baseball game at most sportsbooks has 20 to 25 cent margins

Arizona     -150

Detroit      +125

That’s a 25 cent margin but at Pinnacle, it’ll be an 9 cent margin (see example)

Arizona       -145

Detroit    +134

If you bet on sports daily, Pinnacle is a must have because of their low margins.
