The Cornhuskers are the hottest team in the Big Ten after five straight wins, but those victories have come against the dregs of the conference, culminating in a 67-55 W over Rutgers on Saturday. The market is likely much more infatuated with the fact the 'Huskers have covered all but one of the last 16 games that oddsmakers have posted a line. Great handicappers are fortunate to go 60% against the spread, but Nebraska is running at an unsustainable 93.8% clip over that 16-game span. The Cornhuskers have also been dominant at home after winning their last three games by double digits, which is the first time they have done that in 20-years. Nebraska's value is so inflated and we can assure you that a correction is coming that hopefully starts here.

Maryland has had its 6-8 conference record criticized by the pundits, but when you play in the Big Ten, you're going to see some stiff competition on more nights than not. Six of those losses also came on the road, which is forgivable, as it’s very difficult to travel and win in the NCAA. The Terrapins have little market appeal after posting a 3-6 record in their last nine games. Wins over Minnesota, Wisconsin and Northwestern do not seem to hold much weight in the market either. However, this play is much more about fading an overpriced host with these undervalued 'Terps being the perfect foil.
