7:00 PM EST. Western Michigan has won two straight, but do not let those recent results cover up for what had been a brutal stretch that saw WMU go 1-4 in the five games prior. While the Mustangs are coming off a big road win at rival Eastern Michigan, we have to wonder if WMU will be as motivated to bring the fight on the road tonight. That said, this one is all about backing a vastly superior team that this market is ignoring. Buffalo has been irrelevant for years but they’re on our radar to be sure.

Buffalo is the class of the MAC, but the Bulls are coming off a very disappointing loss at Kent State on Saturday. Although that defeat was certainly a shock, we can almost forgive the Bulls for losing focus after building a 47-34 lead at halftime. You see, before Saturday, the Bulls had been laying waste to any program that dared to stand in their way. Buffalo has had seven double-digit wins in its last 10 games, with four of those contests coming at home at Alumni Arena. The Bulls have bracket buster written all over them, as they are ranked 30th in the nation in scoring offense and 35th in three-pointers made per game. Furthermore, the Bulls don't lose at home very often and their 9-1 record this season certainly supports that. We are not going to let a small stumble on the road keep us from backing this underpriced favorite. Taking back double-digits with the Mustangs may seem like the prudent play after that big win versus Eastern Michigan, but that game was everything for WMU. This might be a bad spot for a squad that is not on the same level with its competition tonight. We are bringing out the hammer, as we fully expect the Mustangs to get whacked. The Bulls will be on parade tonight.
