4:00 PM EST. Seton Hall is 15-5, but the Pirates have fallen on hard times after dropping three of their last four games. Last time out, Hall suffered its first home loss of the season, but rather than get back on the court to right the ship, the Pirates have sat idle for eight days. We saw many schools come out cold after the holiday break, and it would be no shock if Seton Hall suffered a similar fate.

DePaul is an unknown in the market and its 9-11 record isn't likely to inspire the masses to put down their hard earned money at the window. The Blue Demons are just 3-7 over their last 10 games, but are coming off a nice 74-73 win at Georgetown on Wednesday night. DePaul has played the 58th toughest schedule in the nation according to KenPom, which isn't bad for a team stuck playing what's left of the Big East. The Blue Demons' non-conference schedule was loaded with Power Five schools like Notre Dame, Illinois, Michigan State and Oregon.

The main reason for the Pirates recent struggles can be attributed to their reliance on the three-point shot. When the long ball is dropping, Seton Hall wins. When it doesn't, it's a long night at the office. A lengthy layoff isn't likely to help heat things up. We are always weary of spotting points on the road in-conference, and this game is no different. On a day where college hoops take center stage for the first Sunday of the season, you are going to pay a premium for well-known programs, and that includes Seton Hall. Do not fall into that trap. This is a game that DePaul is capable of winning outright, but there is value in taking back these inflated points and that’s how we’ll choose to play it.
