7:00 PM EST. Powered by its longest winning streak in almost 80 years, the Rams of Rhode Island cracked the top-25 in both polls for the first time this season. The Rams stock is soaring, as URI is undefeated in Atlantic 10 conference play and 15-3 overall this season. During their impressive 10-game victory run, the Rams have downed their opponents by over 14 points per game on average, which further inflates URI's value in the market.

Fordham has lost five straight and eight of its last 10, but that poor run will not dissuade us from backing them here, as we get to take back a big pile of inflated points. Nobody will every confuse Fordham with an offensive powerhouse, but what these Rams do well is get down and dirty and force turnovers. Fordham is fifth in the nation in takeaways with nearly 10 steals per game. Canadian Joseph Chartouny is tops in the NCAA with 3.42 steals per outing. Give us extra possessions with some inflated points and the wager just got a lot more appealing.

Ranked teams are overvalued in the market, and we are always on the lookout when a school cracks the polls for the first time, and URI fits the bill. On paper, this might not look like a very competitive matchup, but that was the case last season when Rhode Island was spotting 13½-points at home to Fordham and lost outright 53-43. That was URI's last defeat in-conference. In its most recent trip to the Bronx, URI dropped a 64-61 decision as a 2½-point favorite, and while all things are not equal, that short line highlights how out of whack this number is tonight. Definite overlay.
