Those seven losses to ACC schools have come consecutively and culminated with an 81-54 beatdown at Duke, but considering the Panthers were 29-point pooches, that lopsided result was not unexpected. A closer look at Pitt's recent run reveals a murderer's row that shows just how deep the quality runs in the ACC. In less than a month, the Panthers have faced the Dukies (twice), Miami, Louisville and Virginia Tech. The Wolfpack are 0-3 on the road in conference play this season and have lost those games by a combined 63 points. N.C. State cannot be trusted to lay this kind of lumber and therefore we must trust the Panthers to bring this one in well under the number.
