8:05 PM EST. The Bucks split a pair of overtime decisions the last two games, which includes a 122-119 win over Toronto last Friday and a 123-121 loss to New Orleans on Sunday. The Bucks were pegged by many a pundit to take a big step forward this season, but the "Greek Freak" Giannis Antetokounmpo has been unable to stay healthy, as he's suffering from both knee and ankle issues. It's hard to build any momentum when your best player is hurting every night. However, Antetokounmpo has played every game so far in February, and the Bucks are playing well. This is a formidable foe in a very good spot tonight, thus making this one more of a fade on the visitor than a wager on the host.
The Wizards are coming off an impressive 109-94 win over the upstart 76ers, who had been on a seven-game winning streak. That was Philadelphia’ longest win streak in nine years and the Wizards put it to rest. They put it to rest without John Wall, which comes as no surprise, as the Wiz are 9-2 without their star guard and now some analysts are starting to argue that this team is better without him. When Wall went down, Washington’s stock took a nosedive but after that win over Philly to run its record to 9-2 record without him, its stock is on the rise big time. The Wiz have risen to fourth in the East at 35-25 and this now looks like a great time to sell. You see, this inconvenient trip to Milwaukee precedes a home date with the NBA Champion Warriors back in D.C. tomorrow night. That’s the hottest ticket in town and is all anyone wants to talk about. The NBA season is a long and drawn out grind that can get very redundant at times. There are only a few “must see” games every year for fans and only a few that the players get extremely jacked up for. For the Wiz and their fans, the game against the Warriors tomorrow is that game and therefore this one is likely an afterthought.
