Frank Camacho +150 over Drew Dober

UFC on Fox 27 - Spectrum Center, Charlotte, North Carolina

8:00 PM EST. After nine fights in the Octagon, it's safe to say we know what we're going to get from Drew Dober. The former TUF competitor's UFC career started 0-2 before he got a high profile win over Jamie Varner, but that W came at a time when the veteran was flaming out with four straight losses to end his fighting career. That submission defeat to Dober would be Varner's last fight in a cage of any kind. Since, Dober has been trading wins and losses with a bunch of fighters whose mothers likely wouldn't be able to pick out of a lineup.

What Frank "The Crank" Camacho lacks in UFC experience is made up by his combination of championship level jiu-jitsu and knockout power. Camacho finished 18 fights on the international MMA circuit, and while some may criticize the level of competition he faced in those fights, nobody can take away his 2010 BJJ World Championship.

Fight fans have a short memory so the image of Dober blitzing Josh Burkman last July is the freshest image in the minds of the market. This fight features the "known" versus the "unknown", but while it might seem prudent to back the UFC veteran in this contest, there is nothing inspiring about Drew Dober, who has been a mainstay on the non-televised prelims. Now, he's being asked to kick off a network television broadcast. This fight was not made to showcase the Nebraska native. Frank Camacho has a significant height and reach advantage, and the UFC is betting his best days are still to come. At this price, we'll do the same.
